It was one of the largest and most significant circuses in ancient Rome, capable of holding over 150,000 spectators. It hosted chariot races, public events, and festivals, making it a central hub of entertainment and cultural activities in ancient Rome.
The Circus Maximus meadows is open all throughout the year. However, the VR Experience is open from 1 October to 31 December from 10 AM to 2 PM.
